24 Hours of Prayer!

In January 2004, St Cedd's Church was open for 24 hours of prayer, as part of the 24/7 week of prayer for Christian Unity in the Grays area. At least 50 people were involved in this activity, and St Cedd's was transformed into a "prayer centre" with the addition of numerous displays and features.

As Pat Futcher commented - "Each display was done with great sensitivity, the whole atmosphere was beautiful, the candles and background music and the wonderful sense of love and peace."
