PRAM & BUGGY - SUMMER 2010     

Welcome back to Pram and Buggy!

Our Summer term runs from 27^th April until 20^th July, with a break for half-term on 1^st June.

APRIL

Many congratulations to Ben and mum Katie, who attended all 11 meetings last term. Also, welcome to Leanne who joins us a child-free leader!

Many thanks to all those who ordered photos from our professional photographer in February. Pram & Buggy was given £80 in commission, with which we have bought a farm set for the children. Watch out for this new toy from 11^th May onwards.

MAY

Sunday 2^nd – Family Worship St Cedd’s Church 10:30am

St Cedd’s Family Worship is on the first Sunday of every month. It is particularly suited to families with young children, with a crèche area for babies and toddlers, and activities and songs to encourage participation from primary and secondary aged children.

NB St Cedd’s has a Sunday School - ‘Springboard’ - which meets on the 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th Sundays. Children get together in age-related groups and enjoy games and activities designed to teach them about the Christian faith. All children of school age are welcome – we start every Sunday at 10:30am in St Cedd’s Church and then move into the hall. Pre-school children are catered for with a crèche and teaching at the back of the church.

Tuesday 4^th - Although this is a schools’ non-pupil day, we will be meeting as usual with adapted activities suitable for older siblings. Please feel free to bring all your children with you.

Tuesday 11^th - Today our meeting will have an African flavour as we remember it’s Christian Aid Week.

JUNE

Tuesday 1^st – Half-term holiday

Tuesday 22^nd – Today we’re celebrating our BIRTHDAY with our usual Teddy Bear’s Picnic. Just like last year we’ll be fund-raising for Little Havens Children’s Hospice so bring along your teddy and have some party fun!

JULY

Tuesday 20^th – Our last meeting before our Summer Break.
